In the office of Hu Changchun, the chairman of Zhongshan Bestow Travel Goods Co., Ltd., there are all kinds of industrial products of different times and different countries, such as bicycles, motorcycles, sewing machines, projectors, microscopes, telephones, cameras, phonographs and laptops, just like a miniature industrial Expo.

Hu Changchun, which has worked hard in the manufacturing industry for many years, plans to strengthen its manufacturing enterprises, and at the same time, open an industrial exhibition hall for the industrial products it collects, so as to realize the combination of production and tourism, build a model of "China Intelligent Manufacturing+Industrial Ecological Park" and enhance its industrial competitiveness.

I fell in love with industrial products collection five years ago.

"This microscope is made in the United States and has a history of sixty or seventy years." In the corner of the office, Hu Changchun picked up an old microscope and introduced it. Over the years, he has collected a lot of such scientific instruments. After the completion of the Industrial Expo in the future, every equipment (product) will be marked with instructions to reproduce the industrial history and the social, economic and technological development at that time through industrial products.

Five years ago, Hu Changchun became fascinated with collecting all kinds of industrial products. So far, he has collected thousands of industrial products of all kinds, large and small, and most of them have not been displayed due to the limitations of the current factory space. In the process of collecting, Hu Changchun is willing to spend heavily on what he likes, and sometimes he has to travel across mountains and rivers for an industrial product and suffered a lot. Taking bicycles as an example, he has collected dozens of bicycles produced by Germany, Japan and other countries. These products are unique in shape, smart in appearance and full of industrial beauty, which is as expensive as tens of thousands of yuan.

Hu Changchun's main business is the development and production of outdoor travel bags. Among many industrial products collected, sewing machines related to "bags" are naturally used. "The collection process of sewing machines is difficult, and some of them have a history of 100-200 years, but I have the most complete collection of industrial products in this series and spend the most money." Hu Changchun said.

According to reports, up to now, the oldest sewing machine he collected was produced in Britain in the 1840s. He went to Shandong specially and got it from a businessman who specializes in sewing machine trading. Collecting money is expensive and time-consuming, but Hu Changchun admits that he has this heart, and even the biggest difficulties can be overcome as long as he does one thing with his heart.

In recent years, with the continuous expansion and deepening of industrial heritage protection, industrial museums have attracted more attention from the government, enterprises and society. In 2016, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance jointly issued the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of Industrial Culture. In 2018, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the Interim Measures for the Administration of National Industrial Heritage.
