On April 21st, the Federation of Trade Unions of Torch Development Zone held a reading conference with the theme of "Promoting Industrial Culture and Empowering High-quality Development". Tan Huajian said that Xiangshan Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the first modern industrial enterprise in Xiangshan County founded by overseas Chinese Cai Jinjia and others in Shiqi, and the Yuezhong Shipyard established at the beginning of the founding of New China were all major events in industrial history. The establishment of Zhongshan Health Base in 1990s, the construction of "One Town, One Product" in Zhongshan since 2000, as well as the light fair and the Expo in Zhongshan, all reflect the rich industrial culture of Zhongshan.

Guo Fengping, deputy director of the former general manager's office of Zuixiangyuan, believes that A Brief History of Zhongshan Industry combs the development of Zhongshan industry in the past hundred years and lays a foundation for later researchers. This book is a textbook-level information book for industrial enterprises.

Hu Changchun, chairman of Zhongshan Baisitu Travel Goods Co., Ltd., showed his old books on the spot.
